Cycle "Tageszeiten/Jahreszeiten" (Times of Day/Times of the Year), preoccupation with Bonhoeffer (since 1982), leads to the idea of the " Deutsches Requiem" (German Requiem (drawings and picture cycles) and "Jüdisches Requiem" (Jewish Requiem). M. refuses to participate in the X. Art Exhibition. He refuses further cooperation in the District Association of Fine Artists.
